WESTMINSTER, MD (03/23/2012)(readMedia)-- Dennis Lucey of Weymouth, Mass., a 2001 alumnus of McDaniel College, is the recipient of the inaugural College Scholar Alumni Award.
The College Scholar Alumni Award is to be given annually to a college scholar, a designation that graduates of McDaniel's Honors Program earn, who has demonstrated leadership in career, academic and civic involvement.
After graduating from McDaniel College with bachelor's degrees in economics and mathematics, Dennis Lucey went on to earn a master's degree in quantitative finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He works as a financial analyst for Genscape, a leading global provider of energy fundamentals information for commodity and financial markets. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the national leadership society Omicron Delta Kappa.
