DES MOINES, IA (03/30/2009)(readMedia)--
The Des Moines University Physical Therapy Club is, again, working toward better health around the world. As part of All-Iowa Wheels For The World (AIWFTW), the club will be collecting wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches and jogging strollers.
All equipment donated to AIWFTW is repaired, if needed, and distributed to Third-World countries. To participate, bring equipment to the Des Moines University Academic Center, 3440 Grand Ave., on April 24, 2-6 p.m., or April 25, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. For a map to campus, visit www.dmu.edu/about/campus.
Physical therapy students from Clarke College, St. Ambrose University and the University of Iowa are also collecting equipment for AIWFTW.
