Diana Delli Santi from Randolph, NJ Receives Commanderie de Bordeaux Award at Cornell University
ITHACA, NY (05/17/2011)(readMedia)-- Diana Delli Santi from Randolph, NJ, a senior at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, was awarded the Commanderie de Bordeaux award. As the winner of the Commanderie de Bordeaux Award, Diana will travel for two weeks, all expenses paid, to the Bordeaux wine areas and receive some additional spending money. On this trip she will gain valuable hands on experience and possibly meet the winemakers and owners of many of top Chateaux in Bordeaux. At the end of the trip Diana will be submit a written report describing her experiences abroad.
Each year the Julius Wile Commanderie de Bordeaux aux Etats Unis d'Amerique Bordeaux Education Prize is awarded to one senior or master's student in the School of Hotel Administration whose career interests lie in fine wines and table-service restaurants and are committed to working in this industry in the United States.
