GRANVILLE, OH (07/19/2010)(readMedia)-- Donald Francis William Buckingham, a Ellsworth High School student from Sedgwick (4676), was among the 519 graduates awarded diplomas at Denison University's 169th commencement held May 16. Those awarded degrees by President Dale T. Knobel include the following:
* Donald Francis William Buckingham earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in cinema. Buckingham was a recipient of the Denison Founders Award and the Marimac Scholarship.
The commencement address, "Falling in Love," was delivered by Deborah Bial, MacArthur Fellow and president of the Posse Foundation. Also during the ceremonies Teresa Young delivered the senior class address, "Reflections on a First-year Project."
