Drexel Hill Native Elected to Villanova Alumni Association Board of Directors

VILLANOVA, PA (08/25/2011)(readMedia)-- Four Villanova University alumni have been elected to the Villanova University Alumni Association (VUAA) Board of Directors, the governing body that establishes the overall strategic direction of the VUAA. Maryalice Morro, '83 Nursing; Thomas V. Sanzone, '68 Engineering; Patricia M. Esposito, '80 A&S; and Stephen P. Murphy, '85 A&S; will serve three-year terms representing the VUAA within the University community and providing guidance to the Office of Alumni Relations.

Maryalice Morro, a native of Drexel Hill, Pa., is Chief of Staff at Navy Medicine East in Portsmouth, Va. Morro has had assignments at naval clinics and hospitals in the United States and abroad, including Japan, United Kingdom and Spain, and aboard USNS Comfort in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She was the first Nurse Corps officer to serve as commanding officer of Naval Hospital Pensacola.
