Duarte Selected SCAC Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week

GEORGETOWN, TX (10/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Lily Duarte has been selected the SCAC Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday October 13th. Duarte, a junior from Streetman, Texas, ran a personal best of 18:53.72 for 5K at the Concordia Invitational on Saturday October 13. Duarte placed fifth overall (third among non-Division I and first of Division III competitors) in the event. She led the Pirate women to a 4th place finish among Non-D-I teams in the event.
