The concert, free and open to the public, will feature over 100 pianists, ranging from preschoolers to retirees, who will perform in ensembles of up to 13 pianos. The music for the program has been selected from a wide variety of styles and include such numbers as: Somewhere over the Rainbow; Don't Stop Believin'; the newly published Keep Up! (a jazzy piano sextet for six pianos/12 hands), composed by Zach Garcia and the premiere of a work specifically commissioned for the concert, written by ECU graduate and well-known composer Angela Marshall.

The grand finale will be a performance of John Phillip Sousa's The Stars and Stripes march accompanied by a video production entitled "The Stars and Stripes Over Ada," featuring dozens of photos of the American flag as it appears in various locations throughout the Ada community.

Among the musical selections are: I Love a Piano by Irving Berlin, Fall Fun, Creepy Crocodile, The Swan, Spanish Tornado, Dragon Kite, A Treasured Friendship, Don't Stop Believin', Keep Up!, Over the Rainbow and The Stars and Stripes Forever.
