Easter Jail Outreach And Teen Group Homes

Victory Church Outreach Largest In 30 Years.

ALBANY, NY (04/18/2025) (readMedia)-- Saturday Morning 8 AM 580 inmates at Albany County Jail will receive a special Easter care package filled with snacks. Every package will have a personal letter sharing the true meaning of Easter and how they can turn their lives around. Then the families at the jail shelter will receive packages also.

Every week over 90 inmates attend the Victory service held on Sundays nights.

Pastor Charlie will join Sheriff Craig Apple to hand out the care packages along with ex convicts that have already turned their lives around.

Then at 1 PM at LaSalle Institution group home in Albany every teen will receive a care package and a new pair of Nike sneakers.

Last stop of the day will be 3 PM at Vanderhyden Group Home in Troy 23 boys 19 girls will receive Easter Baskets Nike sneakers and every girl will recieve a new computer tablet.

Over 11,000 snacks were put into care packages and over 60 Pairs of new Nike Sneakers and 19 Tablets will be given out.

When: Saturday 8 AM Albany County Jail 1 PM Lasalle Institute Albany 3 PM Vanderhyden Group Home Troy.

Fighting crime from the inside of the jail and the group homes will make all the difference in the lives of those receiving love this Easter.
