WILLIMANTIC, CT (02/19/2021) Eastern Connecticut State University will offer a special tuition rate for students from New York beginning in the fall 2021 semester. Based on 2020-21 academic year costs, the new Tri-State Rate for New York and New Jersey students would be $15,386 in tuition and fees, compared to the standard out-of-state rate of $25,708 - an annual savings of more than $10,000 or 40 percent. Room and board is $14,434 annually for all students living on campus.

"We are pleased to be able to offer our neighbors from New York and New Jersey admission to Eastern at this lower tuition rate," said Director of Enrollment Management Christopher Dorsey. "These students will be able to pursue a high-quality bachelor's degree on Eastern's residential campus at a cost that is comparable to attending a public university in their home state."

Eastern provides a primarily undergraduate education that is rooted in the liberal arts and grounded in a variety of applied learning opportunities - internships, undergraduate research, service learning and more.
