Background: Genesee Community College, the Genesee County of Chamber of Commerce, the Genesee County Economic Development Center and the Genesee Community College Foundation invite the public to attend a special presentation: The Economic Impact of Genesee Community College in the GLOW Region on Thursday, June 9, 2016 beginning at 8 a.m. in the Humphrey Community Room at the GCC Batavia campus.

The College's economic impact is periodically studied in order to assess the depth of service to the region and to document its accountability to its many stakeholders. The presentation will feature results of the most recent economic impact study of Genesee Community College performed by Economic Modeling Specialists, Inc., an internationally-acclaimed economic research institute. This highly-regarded research firm uses state-of-the-art economic research techniques to estimate, with great precision, the economic value of the College in terms of job and income formation, higher earnings of our students, and returns to taxpayers for college support.
