For the fourth year in-a-row under head coach Kristen Nicholson, Kutztown University women's lacrosse earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad accolades, as well as eight members landing on the Academic Honor Roll.
The Golden Bears were among 383 programs at the NCAA Division I, Division II Division III and NAIA to be named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. To qualify for the prestigious honor, the team must have posted a 3.2 grade point average or higher for the entire 2024-25 academic year.
The eight Golden Bears on the honor roll include Brynn Axe (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield), Marisa Bragg (Ringoes, N.J./Hunterdon Central), Kayla Brooks (Mountville, Pa./Hempfield), Olivia Eilbacher (Cherry Hill, N.J./Camden Catholic), Rowan Hall (Sloatsburg, N.Y./Suffern), Sam Graf (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills), Rory Nilsen (Lansdale, Pa./Pope John Paul II) and Katie Yocum (Hanover, Pa./South Western).
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
