Eleanor O'Neil of Fredericksburg Receives Leadership Award from Southwestern University

GEORGETOWN, TX (04/16/2012)(readMedia)-- Eleanor O'Neil of Fredericksburg received the 2012 Emerging Leader Award from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. The award was presented at the university's 14th Annual Student Leadership Banquet April 10.

O'Neil is the first sophomore ever to be elected editor of Southwestern's student newspaper, The Megaphone. She also is involved with the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, Student Foundation and Student Philanthropy Council.

O'Neil is the daughter of Dr. Pat and Amy O'Neil of Fredericksburg.
