ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (03/17/2010)(readMedia)-- Elizabethtown College's Institute for Learning in Retirement is pleased to release the spring 2010 schedule of classes. The college has been offering courses, programs, and educational trips for seniors since 1990. All persons of retirement age are welcome to participate. The classes are for people who want to enrich their minds and have some fun. There are no homework assignments and no one receives a grade.

In addition to classes offered at the main campus in Elizabethtown, classes will be held at the Masonic Village Campus in Elizabethtown, Elizabethtown College's newly opened York Center for Continuing Education, located right off the Queen Street exit of Route 83 on St. Charles Way, and at Pleasant View Retirement Community in Manheim.
The college is also working in conjunction with the Elizabethtown Public Library to offer writing workshops for all ages. Eight different workshops will be featured this spring with topics to interest authors of all ages, including poetry, journal and screenplay writing and tips for publishing.
