Elmhurst Student Kendall Monaghan Receives Performing Arts Award

RIVER FOREST, IL (05/14/2010)(readMedia)-- Kendall Monaghan, a resident of Elmhurst, has received the Ovation Award for Performing Arts from Dominican University. A recent graduate of Dominican University, Monaghan received the award during the university's honors convocation on Sunday, May 2.

Just this past year at Dominican, Monaghan studied abroad in London and chronicled her experiences in her one-woman show, Not My Intention: London Before and After. She was also part of the ensemble cast of The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!).

Founded in 1901, Dominican University is a comprehensive, coeducational Catholic institution offering bachelor's degrees through the Rosary College of Arts and Sciences and master's degrees through the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, the Brennan School of Business, the School of Education, the Graduate School of Social Work, and the School of Leadership and Continuing Studies.
