WALLA WALLA, WA (04/22/2013)(readMedia)-- Emily Davis of Eagle River, Alaska, recently performed in a production of Aaron Bushkowsky's My Chernobyl with Whitman College's department of theatre from Walla Walla, Wash.

My Chernobyl is a quirky romance, both touching and hilarious, which follows a naïve Canadian who travels to Belarus to give an inheritance to his father's last remaining relative. While there he meets his long lost cousin, a Russian woman who sees him as her ticket out of the radiation blasted country.

The showings took place from April 10-14, and were produced by over 30 of Whitman College's students and staff members. Davis played the role of Katrina.

Davis is the daughter of Karen and Paul Davis from Eagle River, Alaska. She is a 2010 graduate of Eagle River High School.

At Whitman, Davis is a junior biology major and a member of the varsity soccer team.
