MENOMONIE, WIS. (05/01/2012)(readMedia)-- Emily Leuer, a graduate student in food and nutritional sciences, received a Wisconsin Institute of Food Technologists scholarship for $2,500 at the organization's Student Night held in Madison.
Leuer, of Eagan, Minn., will graduate in August and plans to work in research development for new food products.
The Institute of Food Technologists, or IFT, is an international, nonprofit professional organization for the advancement of food science and technology and is the largest food science organization in the world.
