Emma Way of Newark Performs in A Cappella Concert

CHESTERTOWN, MD (05/13/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Emma Way '16 of Newark, Del., participated in the spring 2013 WACappella Concert on May 3 and 4. WACappella is the College's extracurricular a cappella singing group. Way sings alto and had solos in "Glad You Came" and "Some Nights."

Way is an international studies major who works as a staff writer for the student newspaper, The Elm. She also works for the College's SafeRide program and was elected vice president of the College Democrats. Way graduated from Newark High School.

Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
