Entry Deadline Approaching for 2018 State Fair of West Virginia

LEWISBURG, WV (07/02/2018) (readMedia)-- The entry deadline for the 2018 State Fair of West Virginia livestock and home, arts, and garden exhibits is on Friday, July 6.

Entry information can be found by visiting www.statefairofwv.com/competitions or by calling 304-645-1090.

Reminder, all limited classes for home, arts and gardens must be entered by paper, while all junior show livestock entries must be made online. Paper entries are due in the administration building by 4:30 pm, while online entries may be made until 11:59 pm.

As usual, fair week will be full of a variety of livestock shows, the fan favorite Draft Horse Pull on Friday, August 17th, at 9 a.m., and plenty of other activities. Also, don't forget about our new special contests in the West Virginia Building this year, including "Floral Crown Contest", "Christmas Tree Decorating Contest" and the "Chocolate Lovers Contest".
