Erica Ward of Middletown Wins Washington College's Art History Award
CHESTERTOWN, MD (06/10/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Erica Ward '13 of Middletown, DE, is the 2012-13 recipient of the Art History Award, which acknowledges "excellence in the field of art history."
Ward graduated with departmental honors and a bachelor of arts degree in art and art history at Washington College's 230th commencement ceremony this May. On campus, she served as vice president of the Art History Club. Ward is currently interning with the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. through the Comegys Bight Summer Fellowship Program and plans to pursue a career in the museum field and eventually graduate school.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
