Erin Hutchinson Of Groton, Mass. Named Team Captain Of 2009-10 Elms College Women's Basketball Team

CHICOPEE, MA (11/16/2009)(readMedia)-- Senior forward Erin Hutchinson of Groton, Massachusetts was named co-captain of the 2009-10 Elms College women's basketball team.

Hutchinson, who is the vocal leader of the Blazers, scored 152 points last season and was third on the team with 165 rebounds. She started all 27 games for Elms in 2008-09 and was second on the squad with 30 steals.

The Blazers begin their 2009-10 season when they host the annual Blazers Tip-Off Tournament on Friday and Saturday, November 20-21. Elms will take on Johnson State on Friday at 6:00 p.m. in their season opener.
