MILLERSVILLE, PA (05/19/2011)(readMedia)-- Erin K. Reagan of Morgantown, Pa. has been selected to receive the Faraday Physics Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. The scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who display excellent academic merit.
Reagan completed her college preparatory program at home, completing biology at the advanced placement (AP) level. She was involved in performance and technical theater for the Homeschool Players. She was also involved in community outreach and teaches Sunday school at her church.
The Faraday Physics Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $317, to be split evenly between the student's fall and spring semesters. The award is renewable for up to two additional semesters if the student has maintained their academic standing and is pursuing a major in physics.
