WHITTER, CA (07/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Recent graduate Brandon Epstein, a Eugene, Oregon native, was named to the spring 2012 Whittier College Dean's List.
A high achieving student, Epstein completed a self-designed major in the Whittier Scholars Program, played in the Poet football team, was a health teacher's assistant at a local elementary school, and studied abroad in England while completing his fours years at Whittier.
Most recently, Epstein participated in the Fletcher Jones Fellowship program which supports Whittier's best science students each year. The Fellowship provides funds for students to have health related internships or science research assistantships in the summer following their junior year and for continuing scholarly activity during their senior year.
Undergraduate students are awarded Dean's List honors if he or she earns a 3.70 grade point average (GPA) while completing a full-time course load (12 units) in the fall and spring terms.
