Eugene native Aleah Jaeger selected for teaching fellowship in France

WALLA WALLA, WA (06/05/2013)(readMedia)-- Aleah Jaeger of Eugene, Ore. was honored with a fellowship after her graduation from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash.

Jaeger was selected to be an English teaching assistant by the Teaching Assistants Program in France (TAPIF). During the upcoming school year, Jaeger will have the opportunity to instruct elementary or secondary school students in English in some assigned region in France.

Jaeger is the daughter of Suzy Leonard and Bill Jaeger and a 2009 graduate of South Eugene High School. She received a B.A. in Sociology-Environmental Studies during the Whitman commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 19.
