HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (04/09/2013)(readMedia)-- On Monday, March 25, on the campus of Hampden-Sydney College, Cadet Evan Curtis Harris, H-SC Class of 2016, contracted for a full ROTC scholarship with the U.S. Army. He will pursue a commission as an Army officer and will serve our nation after graduation from Hampden-Sydney. He is a graduate of Atlee High School and is the son of Campbell & Beth Harris of Mechanicsville.

Cadet Harris took his enlistment oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution in front of the Hampden-Sydney Memorial Gates where the names of Hampden-Sydney alumni, who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation, are listed.
