Explore Digital Marketing Trends at the Women's Business Bootcamp

CANTON, NY (10/10/2016)(readMedia)-- Women entrepreneurs will have the chance to learn about the latest digital technologies for business at the SUNY Canton Small Business Development Center's (SBDC) Fall Women's Business Bootcamp Luncheon.

The Bootcamp will run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, in the SUNY Canton Campus Center's Woodcock Conference Suites.

John Lepore, a digital marketing professional from Ottawa, Ont., is scheduled as the event's keynote speaker. Lepore will be focusing on the technology changes that permeate all aspects of business. Among other topics, he will help attendants explore latest trends and some simple ideas taking advantage of them, including:

  • Digital marketing and how it can no longer be ignored.
  • Content marketing.
  • Targeting and segmentation for Personalization.
  • Mobile experience and advertising.

The Women's Business Bootcamp Luncheon will also feature the popular Mini Marketplace where attendees can showcase and sell their products or services.

The Women's Business Bootcamp is sponsored by Workforce Development Institute (WDI) and the Reh Center for Entrepreneurship in cooperation with resource partners SUNY Canton, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
