FFA Breeding Beef Exhibitors Show Their Way to Honors

DES MOINES, IA (09/16/2024) (readMedia)-- One hundred-sixty-two exhibitors showed 216 animals Thursday, August 8, competing for top honors in the FFA Breeding Beef show at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.

Ava Long of Agri-Power FFA, Eddyville, was awarded Champion Breeding Heifer. Peyton Buesing of Wilton FFA, Wilton, won the Reserve Champion Breeding Heifer.

Third Place Overall Breeding Heifer was awarded to Chase Roozenboom of Twin Cedars FFA, Bussey. Fourth Place Overall Breeding Heifer went to Tanner Curtin of Williamsburg FFA, Williamsburg. Fifth Place Overall Breeding Heifer went to Cole Klein of West Marshall FFA, State Center.

Tyler Loudon of Creston FFA, Creston, was awarded the Champion Bull and Champion Cow/Calf. Addison Wall of Pleasantville FFA, Pleasantville, won Reserve Champion Bull. Rylie Timm of HLV FFA, Victor, won Reserve Champion Cow/Calf.
