FHU Students, Alumni Journey to Honduras for Medical Mission Trip

A group of Freed-Hardeman University students comprised of nursing and non-nursing majors and FHU alumni traveled to Honduras over spring break for a medical mission trip.

While in Honduras, the group built two houses, distributed 100 bags of food bags and 100 water filters and provided medical care to around 600 people. Volunteers also distributed 7,000 masks at the local hospital, repaired a basketball court at a school for the deaf, and built a playground for an elementary school.
