FROSTBURG, MD (04/08/2011)(readMedia)-- Frostburg State University senior Taylor Casto is spending her spring semester serving as an intern for the Maryland Senate President Mike Miller, through FSU's J. Glenn Beall Jr. Public Affairs Institute.

Casto, of Chesapeake Beach, Md., is a political science major with a minor in international studies.

Casto's internship was funded through the J. Glenn Beall Jr. Institute for Public Affairs at FSU that sponsors a number of educational programs to promote civic responsibility and awareness of governmental and political processes. The institute is currently sponsoring six interns, including Casto, in Annapolis serving in both delegates' and senators' offices.
