FUNDRAISER: A Night with Jimmy Van Bramer and Cynthia Nixon

QUEENS, NY (02/25/2021) (readMedia)-- Jimmy Van Bramer will host a virtual fundraiser for his campaign for Queens Borough President featuring Cynthia Nixon, actress and former gubernatorial candidate on Thursday night. Van Bramer endorsed Nixon in her campaign for Governor in 2018.

Van Bramer has been friends with Christine Marinoni - Nixon's wife - for over twenty-five years. They first met in the early 1990's when they were both active in the Irish Lesbian and Gay Organization's fight to march in the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Van Bramer met Nixon later when she started organizing with Alliance for Quality Education and became a leading voice on education equity.
