Faith Baxley Named Academic All-Conference

HARTSVILLE, S.C. (04/11/2013)(readMedia)-- Coker College women's tennis player Faith Baxley has been named to the Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference team, the league office announced today.

Baxley is a junior art major with a fine arts concentration. She has started since her freshman season. Baxley is the daughter of Edward and Lissa Baxley.

As of Monday, the Cobras are 7-11 overall and 4-6 inside the conference. They host Mount Olive on Thursday in a Conference Carolinas matchup.

Conference Carolinas academic all-conference teams are awarded to junior and senior student-athletes with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all work completed at their member institution that have played in a conference-sponsored sport. The GPA is calculated based on the student-athletes' cumulative GPA through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institution for at least one academic year.
