Favor Ezewuzie named CCIW Athlete of the Week for the second-consecutive week

Favor Ezewuzie was named a CCIW Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, earning the honor for the second-consecutive week. The recognition marks the fifth time in her career that Ezewuzie has been named the Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week - also earning the recognition on February 4 2019; February 12, 2019; February 13, 2018 and February 21, 2017. She has also won the award in outdoor track & field twice: April 9, 2019 and March 26, 2019.

Ezewuzie won three events (60-meter dash, 60-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash) and was second in another (long jump) at University of Chicago's Windy City Invitational last Saturday. Her times of 7.57 (60 dash), 8.76 (60 hurdles) and 25.25 (200 dash) all rank first in the CCIW and second, third and fourth, respectively, on the NCAA Division III national list. Her time in the 60-meter hurdles also tied a facility record.
