Fidelis Care Joins the Children's Aid Society for Annual Family Day Fair
Family Day Festivities for the Inwood Community to Include Food, Music, Games, Raffles, and a Face Painting Clown
NEW YORK, NY (02/03/2012)(readMedia)-- Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, is pleased to join with the Children's Aid Society for their 2nd Annual Family Fun Day celebration on Saturday, February 11th from 10:00am until 3:00pm at the City College Academy of the Arts, and Renaissance Leadership Academy, located at 4600 Broadway (corner of Broadway and 198th Street).
The celebration will include free blood pressure screenings, cooking demonstrations, food, a basketball game, raffles, music, giveaways, and a special appearance by Apryl the face painting clown courtesy of Fidelis Care.
Fidelis Care representatives will be available to answer questions on quality, affordable health insurance, and to assist the more than 220,000 uninsured New York County residents obtain coverage. Existing Fidelis Care members can receive assistance completing their annual recertification as well.
Fidelis Care offers free or low-cost health insurance through New York State's Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, and Medicaid Managed Care programs. Members are covered for regular checkups, preventive care, routine screenings, hospital and emergency care, eye exams, dental care, and more. In addition, Fidelis Care also offers a variety of benefit options for seniors through Fidelis Medicare Advantage, Dual Advantage, Medicaid Advantage Plus, and Fidelis Care at Home programs, available in select counties.
