Fidelis Care Names Edina Vukic Director, Provider Relations

QUEENS, NY (12/07/2011)(readMedia)-- Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, is pleased to announce that Edina Vukic has been named Director of Provider Relations. Vukic will oversee the Provider Relations staff servicing part of Fidelis Care's Greater Metropolitan Regional Office; and will work with Fidelis Care's providers to facilitate on-site education, resolve problems, enhance relationships, and ensure provider satisfaction.

Before joining Fidelis Care, Vukic was the Contract Manager for all Health Net providers in New York State. While at Health Net, she also served as the Ancillary Manager for Health Net's vendors of lab, orthopedic, radiology, and chiropractic services. Prior to Health Net, Vukic worked at CMO, The Care Management Company, a subsidiary of Montefiore Medical Center in both Provider Relations and Contract Management. Vukic has extensive experience in contract negotiation, implementation and network management.

Born, raised in, and a current resident of the Bronx, Vukic earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from Baruch College, and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College. She is a member of Women in Health Management.
