Fidelis Care Names Martin Krebs Chief Information Officer

AMHERST, NY (02/01/2012)(readMedia)-- Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, is pleased to announce that Martin Krebs has been named Chief Information Officer. In this role, Krebs will have statewide responsibility for the information and communications systems that support New York State's largest government programs-based health insurance plan. Krebs is based in Fidelis Care's Getzville, NY (Town of Amherst, Erie County) office.

Before joining Fidelis Care, Krebs served as Chief Information Officer of PCB Piezotronics, a global manufacturing company with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia. There, he operated out of their headquarters in Depew, NY. Krebs has also held a variety of Information Technology positions with HealthNow, Aether Systems, RWD Technologies, and CMG Health Incorporated.

Krebs earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Born in Buffalo, and raised in Buffalo and Springville (a small town 35 miles south of Buffalo), Krebs lives in Springville with his wife Nancy and sons Matt and Sam. The Krebs family spent 10 years in Baltimore, MD, but decided that Western New York was the best place to raise their children.
