Fidelis Care Names Tina Lamont as Director, Medical Management

AMHERST, NY (07/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, is pleased to announce that Tina Lamont has joined Fidelis Care as Director, Medical Management. Lamont will have state-wide responsibility for overseeing utilization of services and ensuring that members receive access to appropriate care. She will be based out of Fidelis Care's Western Regional Office; which serves the counties of Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Wyoming, Genesee, Orleans, Monroe, Livingston, Allegany, Steuben, Ontario, Wayne, and Schuyler.

Before joining Fidelis Care, Ms. Lamont was the Director of Inpatient Use Management and Quality for HealthNow. Prior to her position at HealthNow, Lamont was the Vice President of Utilization/Case Management for Sleep Management Solutions. She has also worked at Independent Health, Case Management Concepts, and NOVA Healthcare Administrators.

Ms. Lamont is a graduate of Niagara University where she earned her BS in Nursing. She is an active member of the National Patient Advocate Foundation, the American Business Women's Association, the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy Consultants, and a past member of the Western New York Health Care Executive Forum (where she served as VP of Programming), as well as the Buffalo Niagara Partnership.

A lifelong resident of Lockport, Lamont and her husband Paul raised two children who continue to reside in Western New York. In her spare time, Lamont won't be found in one place for too long. As an avid jogger, cyclist, and mountain climber she is always on the move.
