Fidelis Care To Host Health Insurance Open House At Their Getzville Offices

Uninsured Individuals May Apply for Coverage, Current Fidelis Care Members May Renew Their Coverage, at Health Insurance Open House on November 17

GETZVILLE, NY (11/11/2011)(readMedia)-- Fidelis Care is pleased to announce that the company will be hosting a Health Insurance Open House for uninsured residents of Erie and Niagara counties on Thursday, November 17. Current Fidelis Care members who need to renew their coverage are also encouraged to attend the event, where a representative can assist with the recertification process.

Erie County is home to approximately 8,300 uninsured children under the age of 19, and more than 63,000 uninsured adults between the ages of 19 and 64. Niagara County is home to an additional 3,300 uninsured children, and more than 21,000 uninsured adults. Fidelis Care is committed to reducing these numbers, and ensuring that all New Yorkers have access to affordable, quality health insurance coverage.

The Health Insurance Open House will be held at Fidelis Care's Regional Operations Center and Offices, located at 480 CrossPoint Parkway (CrossPoint Business Park) in the Hamlet of Getzville (Town of Amherst). Access to the Business Park is by way of Millersport Highway or North French Road. The Open House will run from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
