Fidelis Care, Tri-Lakes Federal Credit Union, WSLP 93.3-FM Spread Holiday Cheer

SARANAC LAKE, NY (12/08/2011)(readMedia)-- Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, is proud to join with the Tri-Lakes Federal Credit Union and WSLP 93.3 - FM to spread holiday joy to the area's needy children through the Tri-Lakes Caring Community Gift Drive.

Now through December 15th, residents of the Tri-Lakes are encouraged to join this effort by buying a new toy for a child ages newborn through 13. Toys can be dropped off during normal business hours at either the Tri-Lakes Federal Credit Union branch at 197 Broadway in Saranac Lake, or the branch located at 453 Wesvalley Road in Lake Placid.

On December 15th, Fidelis Care, Tri-Lakes Federal Credit Union, and WSLP 93.3 - FM will celebrate the contributions of the Tri-Lakes Community at a special event from 6:00am until 6:00pm at the Credit Union's Saranac Branch (197 Broadway, Saranac Lake). Paul Varga of WSLP will be broadcasting live from the party, and is inviting the entire community to join the celebration. Refreshments will be served, and all attendees can take a free spin on WSLP 93.3 - FM's new Digital Gift Wheel, with a chance to win over $2,000 in prizes from area businesses.

In addition to collecting toys, the Tri-Lakes Caring Community Gift Drive will accept donations of non-perishable food items for the local food pantries, as well as pet supplies for the Tri-Lakes Humane Society. Everyone who brings a toy, non-perishable food item, or a pet supply item will receive a coupon for a half order of nachos from the Dancing Bears Restaurant at the High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid.
