ORCHARD PARK, NY (06/03/2011)(readMedia)-- Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan, is pleased to welcome Dr. Jennifer M. Ruh MD, Dr. Richard J. Ruh MD, Dr. Thomas E. DeGrave DO, Dr. Deborah F. Miller MD, Dr. Amy Burke MD and the entire staff of Orchard Park Family Practice to the Fidelis Care provider network.
Dr. Jennifer Ruh graduated from Duke University's Medical School and completed her training in Family Medicine at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton, WA. Dr. Ruh undertook additional studies in women's medicine at the University of Buffalo Hospital Consortium. She is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Buffalo. Dr. Ruh is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the International Society for Clinical Densitometry, and the Federal Aviation Administration Medical Corps.
Dr. Richard Ruh graduated from the University of Buffalo's Medical School. Dr. Ruh is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Ruh also serves as the Senior VP for Line Services at Catholic Health System.
Dr. Thomas DeGrave earned his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. DeGrave also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Catholic IPA, an 800 member, physician run network responsible for spearheading numerous quality of care initiatives in Western, NY.
Dr. Deborah Miller received her MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before completing her medical degree at the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse. Dr. Miller is a fellow of both the American Academy of Family Practice and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Dr. Amy Burke graduated from the University of Buffalo Medical School and completed her Family Medicine Residency in Syracuse, New York. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine, a member of the AAFP, and a clinical instructor for the University of Buffalo Medical School. She is currently attending the University of Buffalo graduate program to attain her Masters degree in Business Administration.
Orchard Park Family Practice has a long history of serving the residents of Orchard Park. The practice was originally established in 1953 by Dr. Joseph Ruh, who retired in 1995. At which time, Dr. Richard Ruh assumed the practice, and later partnered with Dr. Jennifer Ruh. Dr. DeGrave merged his practice with Orchard Park Family Practice in 2010.
The physicians are joined in their practice by a team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Mary Beth Earl, FNP, earned her Master of Science degree and her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Buffalo. Mary Beth has worked as an RN and charge nurse at Buffalo General Hospital as well as a local community clinic.
Amy Pohlman, RPA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Daemen College. Amy has extensive experience as a primary care provider for adult and pediatric patients.
Nicole Conroe, RPA-C, earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from D'Youville College. Nicole's clinical experience includes family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, and primary care.
Damian Zakroczemski, RPA-C, earned his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from D'Youville College. In addition to his clinical work in Primary Care, Damian has an extensive human services background working with teens and adults with developmental disabilities.
Breanna Voigt, RPA-C, earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Gannon University. Breanna's clinical experience includes family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and general surgery.
