Flagler College hosts Expedition Florida 500 forum

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (06/17/2013)(readMedia)-- Flagler College will present a night with Justin Riney on June 25. Riney will be paddling the entire length of the coast of Florida on a stand-up paddleboard as part of Mother Ocean's Expedition Florida 500.

Riney will join Flagler professors as he discusses his journey as well as current marine pollution issues specifically related to Florida and its waterways.

The free event will take place in Flagler College's Kenan Hall in Room 300 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. It is part of a two-day series of events that can be found at staugmaritimeheritage.org.

Mother Ocean is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating, inspiring and empowering ocean advocates worldwide. Expedition Florida 500 is an exploration of Florida's coastline, waterways and aquatic ecosystems.
