Former Honey Creek resident Seth Means selected for Olivet's 2012 Homecoming Court

BOURBONNAIS, IL (11/01/2012)(readMedia)-- Seth Means, a former Honecy Creek resident, was part of the Queen's Court for the 58th Homecoming coronation ceremony at Olivet Nazarene University on October 31, 2012. Chosen by his peers for this honor, he is a senior and leader among the student body. He was the escort for Whitney Means, his wife. He is the son of David and Karen Means.

Seth is majoring in electrical engineering and sings with Orpheus Choir at Olivet, where he also met Whitney.

Allison Wiseman (Bradford, Ohio), the Homecoming Queen, was escorted by Calum Samuelson (Federal Way, Wash.).

Other members of the 2012 Homecoming Court, all seniors, are: Lauren Beatty (Kankakee, Ill.), escorted by Jeremy Height (Indianapolis, Ind.); Cassidy Lancaster (Lakeland, Fla.), escorted by Michael Doherty (Fenton, Mich.); Taylor Polatas (Kent, Ohio), escorted by Josue Sanchez (Morelia, Mexico).

Olivet's Homecoming Queen and members of her Court have been honored each year since 1955. The Queen is a senior woman chosen by the student body. She is person of integrity; gives glory to God in her life; helps others feel loved and accepted; and expresses Olivet's academic, social, and spiritual ideals.
