Former White House Chief Calligrapher to offer class in Staunton

The Staunton Recreation and Parks Department will be hosting an Introduction to Calligraphy class with instructor Russell Armentrout, the former Chief White House Calligrapher

STAUNTON, VA (01/04/2010)(readMedia)-- Explore the art of beautiful writing with a master calligrapher as the instructor. In this class presented by the Staunton Recreation Department, Russell Armentrout who has been doing hand lettering for 50 years, will teach the many ways calligraphy can be used as well as the wide range of styles. This is an inquirers class and no experience is necessary. This once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from the former Chief White House Calligrapher begins on February 16th from 10am -11:30am at Montgomery Hall Park with a registration deadline of February 9th.
