Elizabeth Clune-Kneuer was elected to the 2011-2012 Nominations Committee for the North East Association for Institutional Research

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD (10/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Elizabeth A. Clune-Kneuer, associate director of institutional research at St. Mary's College of Maryland and a former resident of Yardley, Pennsylvania, has been elected to the 2011-12 Nominations Committee for the North East Association for Institutional Research (NEAIR). NEAIR promotes institutional effectiveness in postsecondary education and focuses on promoting best practices and integrity in institutional research.

Clune-Kneuer is already actively involved in the institutional research community. She begins her one-year term as president of the Maryland Association of Institutional Research (MdAIR) on Oct. 14, 2011 and receieved her graduate certificate from Penn State in institutional research this past summer. Clune-Kneuer has worked at St. Mary's College of Maryland since 2005, where she directs the college's institutional research and reporting activities for state and federal agencies as well as for commercial college guides published by Barron's, Forbes, and U.S. News & World Report.

Clune-Kneuer received her bachelor of arts from University of Delaware and her master's in education from the University of Virginia.

St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
