MILTON , MA (02/22/2012)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce that Franklin, MA resident, Sean Gearin, son of Catherine and David Gearin, will be appearing as Prince Simon in A.A. Milne's classic fable, The Ugly Duckling as part of the Black Box show, Twisted Tales. A 2011 graduate of Franklin High School, Sean's performances include Oliver! as Oliver and High School Musical as Troy Bolton at the Orpheum Theatre. He has been on stage with the Franklin Footlighters in the ensemble of Bye-Bye Birdie, as Daniel in Once On This Island and Into The Woods as the Wolf. Currently a Curry College freshman majoring in communication, Sean makes his acting debut at Curry College with this show.
Featuring two darkly funny fables, The Ugly Duckling, by A.A. Milne, and Oscar Wilde's Birthday of the Infanta, Twisted Tales is a show for grownups and mature children. It comes to the Curry stage February 25 -27 at 7:30 p.m., with an additional Sunday matinee performance at 2:30 p.m., in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus of Curry College, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (Option 2).
