Friday's Mega Millions Jackpot: $242,000,000

The New York Lottery today announced the advertised jackpot for the Friday, December 31st Mega Millions drawing is being increased again based on strong sales across all 42 participating Mega Millions states. The jackpot for the New Year's Eve drawing is now $242,000,000.

Any top-prize winning Mega Millions ticket for the December 31st drawing that was purchased prior to the announced jackpot increase will be eligible to be paid at the $242,000,000 level. Tickets for Friday night's drawing will be available for sale until 10:45 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
