Future Teachers Attend NYS Council for Exceptional Children Conference

Students from the undergraduate and graduate education programs at Medaille attended the 2017 New York State Federation of Chapters of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Conference in Binghamton on October 20-21. The future teachers attended sessions on behavior strategies, students with IEPs, co-teaching methods and more. At the conference, students met with NYS CEC board members and submitted paperwork to become an official, nationally recognized student chapter of CEC. Undergraduate attendees from Medaille included Sarah Lussier, Lauren Kocher, Alexis Wilson, Lindsey Spengler and Danielle Keller, while graduate attendees included Jessica Lussier, Hannah Pomeroy, Jodi Rospierski and Lorine Baldelli.
