GC Elevator Pitch Competition Winners

Friday, April 9, 2020, was the final round of the 18th semester of the Georgia College Elevator Pitch Competition. The first round was held on March 16 and 17. This semester's sponsors were GEICO and TTi. Like last semester, the competition was held virtually.

In the first round, twelve classes participated and 363 students competed. Five faculty prepared the students who represented all majors in the college of business and included sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Dr. Renee Fontenot, Professor of Marketing coordinates this semi-annual event Business professionals and recruiters are judges in the first round. This semester, there were 244 requests for introductions to students from recruiters from across 16 companies for potential internship or career positions.

1st Place - $500 + TTi Gift Bag worth $500, Sydney Scarborough, Marketing, Senior

2nd Place - $400 + TTi Gift Bag worth $400, Olivia Dumas, Marketing, Junior

3rd Place - $300 + TTi Gift Bag worth $300, Catherine Dorr, Management, Senior

4th Place - $200, Lauryn Parker, Marketing, Senior

5th Place - $100, Kyle King, Marketing, Senior
