Gatehouse earns PSAC Defensive Athlete of the Year; Five others from KU Field Hockey named All-PSAC

Senior defender Sarah Gatehouse (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) was voted the 2023 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Defensive Athlete of the Year, and was joined by five other Kutztown field hockey student-athletes on the All-PSAC teams, as voted on by the league's head coaches.

Gatehouse and Juliana Donato (Cedarville, N.J./Schalick) were tabbed to the First Team and Erin Gonzalez (East Earl, Pa./Garden Spot), Grace Harrold (York, Pa./Central York), Mackenzie Kile (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) and Danielle Panati (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) were all voted to the Third Team. It is the second time Gatehouse is on the First Team and Donato's second time as an All-PSAC performer, earning Third Team last season.

Donato has scored three goals and her 11 assists ranks second in the PSAC and is tied for third in DII, starting all 18 games for the Maroon and Gold as an attacking midfielder.

Gonzalez has had a breakout sophomore season, leading the attack with eight goals. She tops the KU lineup with 19 points (8 goals, 3 assists), starting in 17-of-18 games played.
