Georgia State University student Jina Yu recently received an academic award for her poster presentation for Georgia State's Scientific Computing Day.
Yu, of Jonesboro, is a Ph.D. student in Chemistry in Professor Ivaylo Ivanov's lab in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Yu's poster was titled "Dynamic conformational switching underlies TFIIH function in transcription and DNA repair and impacts genetic diseases."
Georgia State's Scientific Computing Day is a symposium fostering networking and collaborations among researchers at the university and its affiliates.
