Get Creative at GCC

BATAVIA, NY (02/24/2015)(readMedia)-- Enhance your creativity and creative problem solving skills with insightful and inspiring presentations at the second annual Creativity Conference at Genesee Community College. Save the date for this one day only event on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. The day features 50 minute workshops. Cost is $99 which includes lunch. GCC Director of Business Programs Dr. Lina LaMattina spearheaded the development of the first conference in 2014. If you attended last year, she encourages you to return. "Creativity is a skill that needs to be continually nurtured and developed," LaMattina said. "This year we are expanding the areas of focus to include discussion about the application of creativity within four specific tracks, not only Education and Business, but also how you can apply creativity and creative problem solving to improve your Community and how to use it for Personal Enrichment."

Planning continues for dynamic workshops that will be offered throughout the day, and proposals for 50-minute presentations that broadly or specifically reinforce creativity/creative problem solving are being accepted through March 23, 2015.
