Giant Red Ribbon Hung At Capitol Honors Drug-Free Kids

ALBANY, NY (05/13/2008)(readMedia)-- New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) Commissioner Karen M. Carpenter-Palumbo joins 30 student ambassadors from western New York to unveil a 33-foot red ribbon hung on the State Capitol’s historic “Million Dollar Staircase.” The event culminates more than 5,000 pledges by students to remain alcohol and drug-free.
